The "Miners" of TSV Peißenberg celebrated a special victory in Buchloe.

In the home game on Sunday, a different opponent than the originally planned ESC Kempten is waiting.

Peißenberg - Corona is currently shaking things up in the Bavarian ice hockey league.

On Friday, TEV Miesbach and EHC Klostersee had to cancel their games due to various cases in the team.

The "miners" of TSV Peißenberg are indirectly affected by Corona: Because several Corona cases occurred at ESC Kempten, the Allgäu will be out as opponents on Sunday.

But there is a substitute: The home game on November 7th, 5:30 pm, will be played by the Peißenbergers against the “Mighty Dogs” of ERV Schweinfurt. The “3G plus” rule applies to access to the ice rink. The student ID alone is not sufficient for students; a quick test certificate must be presented. In this context, it is also worth remembering the vaccination campaign by TSV Peißenberg on Sunday (3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in front of the ice rink / prior registration is not necessary).

The Kempten-based company announces on their homepage about “game cancellation”: “After a few suspected corona cases and positive tests have appeared in the ranks of the Kempten team in the past few days, there is no other choice than to cancel the game.

Since, among other things, test results are still pending, the responsibility towards opponents, spectators and fellow players is far too great and does not allow any other decision. "

"Miners" achieves historic victory in Buchloe

At ESV Buchloe, the "Miners" achieved a downright "historic victory" 6: 3 in the game on Friday evening, as TSV team spokesman Andreas Schugg put it. For the first time in eleven years, the Peißenberg team won an away game against the "Pirates" - in regular time on top of that. The last victory dates back to October 29, 2010 - at that time the Peißenbergers, still operating as "ice hackers", won 3-2 after a penalty shootout. Since then, the Peißenberger have only got two points in the Allgäu in the Bayernliga preliminary round: they lost in the penalty shoot-out on October 9, 2011 (3: 4) and on October 30, 2015 (4: 5).

The Peißenberger were 3-0 ahead on Friday after 20 minutes. Niko Fissekis (11th / power play), Simon Sendl (12th) and Moritz Birkner (20th) had scored. The "Miners" began the second third, "then a little more negligently," reported Schugg. Buchloe made it 1: 3 (21st) through Alexander Krafczyk. Dominic Krabbat provided the "perfect answer" with the 4: 1 (23rd), according to Schugg. When Buchloe had two more men on the ice, Andreas Schorer made it 2: 4 (37th). Still outnumbered, the Peißenbergers managed to score 5: 2 (39th) through Maximilian Malzatzki.

In the last third, TSV played concentrated until the end.

The Buchloer 3: 5 (45th) by Philip Wolf no longer brought the guests into distress.

Sinan Ondörtoglu made everything clear with the sixth goal (54th).

The numerous Peißenberg fans who traveled with them ensured the atmosphere in the Buchloer stadium and cheered their players for a long time after the game.
