The German team manager Daniel Farke was sacked at the English first division soccer club Norwich City just hours after the first win of the season.
The bottom of the league announced this on Saturday evening.
Norwich had prevailed in the afternoon at fellow promoted Brentford FC (2-1).
The 45-year-old Farke came from Borussia Dortmund's reserve in 2017 and has since been promoted to the Premier League twice with his club.
The decision was not an easy one, said Norwich sporting director Stuart Webber: "However, we think that now is the right time for a change in order to have the best conditions and stay in the Premier League." Norwich won in the first eleven games only five points and is bottom of the table.
Farke had led the club from the east of England twice to the second division championship despite below average financial resources compared to the competition.
For the first time in 2019, after only one year in the elite class, it went back again.
This was followed last season but the direct rise with the club record of 97 points.
However, the start of the season failed for Farke and Norwich.
"The entire club should forever be grateful to Daniel and his staff for their important role in our journey," said Webber.
Farke and his team gave Norwich “unforgettable moments” and identified themselves with the club.
It is not yet known who will succeed Farke.
After Watford's Xisco Munoz, Newcastle United's Steve Bruce and Tottenham Hotspurs Nuno Espirito Santo, he is the fourth coach to be sacked in the current Premier League season.
