Drama in the final phase: After two goals in stoppage time, Eintracht Frankfurt won 2-1 at Greuther Fürth.
Sebastian Rode had brought Eintracht into the lead in the 75th minute, Cedric Itten equalized in the 92nd minute.
Raffael Borre countered in the 94th minute with the winning goal.
For Fürth, the relegation project is still a long way off after just eleven match days.
Stefan Leitl's team has only scored one point this season.
The game against Eintracht would have been such a game in which Fürth could and should have scored.
But in the end it was the tenth defeat in the eleventh game.
In the first half, the people of Fürth were visually superior.
Often, however, the newcomer acted too hastily in front of the goal, the last pass came imprecisely or not at all.
Eintracht goalkeeper Kevin Trapp had little opportunity to show his skills.
On the other hand, after an intervention by Fürth's goalkeeper Marius Funk against Frankfurt's Daichi Kamada in the penalty area, Eintracht would have liked a penalty.
But referee Daniel Siebert hadn't seen it as a foul.
Much more exciting did not happen in the first 45 minutes, consequently it went 0-0 into the break.
After the change, the game remained divided, Fürth tried hard, but again the last move was missing.
Rode then proved that with his hit.
And when Fürth actually had the big chances three minutes before the end, Trapp reacted splendidly twice.
When it all seemed over, the game turned into a crime thriller.
First the 1: 1 and in return the devastating 1: 2 for Fürth.
