The second phase of the Al Salam Equestrian Show Jumping Tournament concluded today after four days of competitions at the Martyr Basil Al-Assad Club in Dimas in Damascus countryside.

The jockey Sham Al-Assad was crowned with the title of the upper category “A” for a height of 145 cm. She also came in second place with her participation on another horse. The jockey Amr Hamsho came third, the jockey Ahmed Hamsho fourth, and the jockey Hammam Al-Khouli fifth.

The jockey Aya Hamsho won the title of the middle category “B” championship for a height of 130 cm. The jockey Sham Al-Assad came in second place, followed by the jockey Jawad Nizam, then the jockey Hammam Al-Shehab and the jockey Mahmoud Al-Masry.

As for the junior category, with a height of 120 cm, its competition ended with the jockey Ahmed Al-Masry winning the first place, followed by the jockey Aya Hamsho, then the jockey Jawad Nizam, and Aya Hamsho came fourth on another horse, and the jockey Najla Al-Samir came fifth.

The final matches for the 80 cm children's categories, the 100 cm mini-tour category, and the 110 cm AMA Tour category were held yesterday, crowned with their competitions, respectively, by Al-Farid Al-Naqari, Al-Naqari Al-Naqari and Shorouk Al-Masry.

The competitions for the final matches for this stage took place in one run and a differentiation round for each category separately. This arbitration system requires the riders to qualify for the differentiation round to finish the course of the first half without errors within the given time, where the rider with the least mistakes and fastest time in the differentiation round wins the first place.

It is noteworthy that the first stage of the Peace Course was held last week, and the jockey Amr Hamsho won the title of the upper category “A” competition.
