With the full point yield, the team of coach Christian Kratzmeir consolidated the second place in the Bayern League.

Peißenberg - The Peißenberg "Miners" did not allow themselves to be slowed down by their forced Corona break.

With full points - a 6: 3 at ESV Buchloe they followed up with a narrow 2: 1 home win against ERV Schweinfurt on Sunday evening - coach Christian Kratzmeir's team consolidated second place in the Bayernliga.

Kratzmeir seemed really satisfied after the success against the Schweinfurters, who had jumped in at short notice for the Kempeteners who had failed due to the corona, but not. "We had planned more and wanted to be more dominant," criticized Kratzmeir. “We weren't ready to take on the fight. So it was a happy win, ”continued Kratzmeir. Peißenberg's coach had to do without striker Dominic Krabbat at short notice, who rushed to the hospital after warming up to his heavily pregnant wife. “We can't replace him”, was the failure of the father-to-be for Kratzmeir as a criterion for the problems in his team, which with the “Mighty Dogs” delivered an even game over long periods.

Both teams came up with numerous opportunities in the high-class Bayernliga game. The two strong goalkeepers Benedikt Roßmann with the guests and Korbinian Sertl with the "Miners" could not be overcome. “Sertl was life insurance. He held brutally ”, praised ERV coach Andreas Kleid after the Peißenberg goalie. It was only shortly before the end of the middle section that Sinan Ondörtoglu broke the spell when he shot the home side in the lead during an outnumbered game (38th).

In the final round, too, the "Miners" came to some power plays, but some of them were played very weakly, so that no further goal was achieved.

On the other hand, Sertl destroyed all the guests' chances, including some high-profile ones, before the lively Niko Fissekis increased to 2-0 (49th).

The Peißenberger's hope that this hit would give them security was not fulfilled.

The Schweinfurters continued to resist the impending defeat.

Two and a half minutes before the end, ERV-Coach Brille took his goalkeeper off the ice for another outfield player.

With one man more, Christian Masel also brought the ERV closer to 1: 2 (58th).

The home side survived the remaining 80 seconds unscathed with a lot of struggle and luck.

Special "Miners" victory at ESV Buchloe

Two days earlier in Buchloe, the "Miners" had given a much better picture. "We were ready, we just played and accelerated at the right moment," said Kratzmeir, summarizing the successful performance of his men, who returned home for the first time in eleven years with three points. Against the weakened "pirates", they took the initiative from the first faceoff. The reward was two hits by Fissekis (11th) and Simon Sendl (12th) within just 46 seconds. Immediately before the first break, Moritz Birkner even made it 3-0 (20th).

At the beginning of the middle section, Buchloe came up to 1: 3 (21st). The "Miners" answered immediately. Krabbat restored the three-goal gap with a 4-1 win (23rd). Korbinian Sertl made sure that it didn't get exciting again. The TSV goalkeeper was there when the home side went it alone. When TSV had two fewer players on the ice, Sertl conceded the second goal (37th). But the guests put up with that too. Max Malzatzki scored shortly before the last change - Peißenberg still had one man less on the ice - to make it 5-2 (39th). In the final third of the Buchloern team, after 3: 5 (45th), hope was again born. The guests survived, among other things, a four-minute shortfall. Barely complete again, Ondörtoglu made half a dozen full (54th).

Vaccination campaign of the TSV Peißenberg a success

During the vaccination campaign of TSV Peißenberg before the home game against the Schweinfurt “Mighty Dogs”, 25 vaccinations were carried out within two hours.

This was announced by TSV President Stefan Rießenberger.

The head of the association was satisfied and at the same time thanked all employees of the vaccination center.
