The Forster "Nature Boyz" keep their fans in suspense: The games against Burgau and Pfronten were always exciting.
In the end, however, there was always reason to be happy.
Forst - In the fight for a place in the promotion round of the regional league, the "Nature Boyz" of SC Forst are fully involved.
In the games at home against Burgau (7: 5) and away against Pfronten (4: 3 after penalty shootout), coach Armin Dallmayr's team collected a total of five points.
In both games, “the 'Nature Boyz' loved the tension,” as club spokesman Werner Schilcher put it.
In Pfronten, the Forster were three times behind - by conceding goals in the 24th, 33rd and 52nd minutes.
But every time the guests, who came with a decimated squad, managed to equalize.
Bastian Grundner (30th / in power play), Simon Fend (33rd) and again Grundner (54th) were successful for the guests.
In overtime it went back and forth, the winning goal was in the air on both sides with good chances.
The game was only decided in the penalty shootout.
Marco Mooslechner converted for Forst, the following attempt by Filip Matejka was saved by SC goalkeeper Markus Kieslich.
SC Forst surprised against Burgau with a 7-5 victory
In the home game against the "Eisbären" of ESV Burgau, around 90 spectators saw a varied duel with several changes in leadership. With a score of 4: 3 for Forst - the SC goals were scored by Andreas Krönauer, Daniel Anderl, Marco Mühlegger and Simon Fend - it went into the final third. There, the Burgau team met twice for a 5: 4 lead (45th, 48th). Marco Mooslechner scored for the much-acclaimed 5: 5 (52nd), Elias Breidenbach used a majority to 6: 5 for Forst (53rd). As a result, Burgau tried to prevent defeat with individual actions. In the urge phase of the guests, Forst went it alone, which was stopped illegally. Grundner took responsibility when the penalty was due - he also scored the 7: 5 final score. Burgau's chairman Werner Gebauer, congratulated on the "completely deserved victory".It goes without saying that the unexpected three-point success "was celebrated in a relaxed manner", said SC spokesman Schilcher.
On Friday, November 12th, 8 p.m., Forst will play against Bad Wörishofen at home.
On Sunday, November 14th, 5.15 p.m., the away game against EV Fürstenfeldbruck will take place.
