According to the article published in L'Equipe, an acquaintance of Hamrawi said that the two were traveling together in a car on the way back from an event, along with two other actresses of Paris Saint-Germain.
Hamrawi was sitting next to Dialo who was driving the vehicle when two people wearing masks on their faces suddenly appeared and one of them dragged her out of the vehicle.
The assailant repeatedly hit Hamrawi's legs with an iron bar, before fleeing the scene.
The player, who returned last summer from Barcelona to PSG, was taken to hospital and stitched in her legs and arms when the attack prevented her from taking part in the Champions League match between her team and Real Madrid, where she was due to mark 100 appearances at the club from the French capital.
A source involved in the affair noted that in light of the fact that none of the actresses were robbed during the incident, and the attack was carried out in a targeted manner at Hamrawi, the police are investigating a scenario where the offense was committed amid an internal conflict in Paris Saint-Germain.
