The young Israeli team is hosted tonight (Thursday) by San Marino as part of the fifth round of the European Under-21 Championship qualifiers. Next week against Hungary, which may bring the blue-and-whites significantly closer towards securing second place.
The visitors are missing the end of Podgorano, Daniel Peretz, Doron Leidner and Omri Gandelman who were called up to the senior squad, but that should not prevent them from winning over a much inferior opponent.
Oz Bilu came in the lineup of Alon Hazan, as well as Osher Davida, Aviel Zargari and Itai Boganim.
Zohar Zasno was preferred in the right-back position over Kerem Jaber, who will wait for an opportunity on the bench.
The Israeli national team:
Omer Niron, Zohar Zasno, Gil Cohen, Or Balorian, Ziv Morgan, Aviel Zargari, Ido Shachar, Arad Bar, Oz Bilu, Itai Boganim, Osher Davida

the progress of the game
12 minutes, 0: 1 to Israel!
A good opening for Alon Hazan's gang.
Itai Boganim found Oz Bilu in the box, who swung his left foot and raised the bricks to a quick advantage.
13 minutes, 0: 2 to Israel!
A total of one minute passed and the advantage was doubled.
This time it was Osher Davida, who also from an extension kicked a powerful ball that was stopped only in the net.
24th minute: Zohar Zesano tried his strength from about 25 meters, the ball rubbed the crossbar and went out.
28 minutes, 0: 3 to Israel!
A huge mistake in the local defense set up an easy goal for Itai Boganim.
The Hapoel Haifa player ambushed for a back pass, overtook the goalkeeper, bounced over him and in front of an exposed goal scored one of his easy goals.
31 minutes, 0: 4 to Israel!
Ido Shachar with his second goal in the campaign, this time less dramatic than the 1: 2 victory over Latvia last month.
The Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder took advantage of the goalkeeper's mess and a bad exit and pushed right inside from the goal line.
Minute 37: Almost the fifth of Israel.
Two shots in the box after Bilu's corner ended in a big miss by Blurian, who was stopped by the crossbar from about 5 meters.
Minute 45: Bilu could have celebrated a double even before the break, but tried to get smart with a bounce and met the outside net.
