The German national soccer team will end the year on Sunday (6 p.m. / RTL) in Armenia with a decimated squad.
Leon Goretzka suffered a bruise in the head and neck area when his opponent Jens Hofer kicked Liechtenstein (9: 0) and is "not ready for action," said the German Football Association (DFB).
Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and offensive player Marco Reus do not travel to the last World Cup qualifier "for reasons of stress control".
In Armenia, Antonio Rüdiger is also yellow-banned.
Julian Draxler was already unavailable against Liechtenstein due to a muscle injury.
The DFB selection contests their final training on Saturday in Wolfsburg, in the afternoon it goes to Armenia.
At the beginning of the week, national coach Flick had to deal with cancellations after Niklas Süle's Corona case.
In addition to Süle, who tested positive, Bayern professionals Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala and Karim Adeyemi from Red Bull Salzburg had to leave the national team to go to the quarantine.
The German team has already been determined as group winners and participants in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
