Already in his first season in the best league in the world, Steph Kerry displayed his tremendous abilities off the arc.
But no one expected it to become the greatest slingshot of all time.
Tonight (Friday-Saturday) it became official, as Kerry overtook Ray Allen on his way to first place in the NBA threes table.

Kerry, who scored nine threes and finished with 40 points in the Warriors' 93-119 victory over the Chicago Bulls, scored his 3,366 three-pointer in the best league in the world (including the playoffs) and thus overtook Allen, one of the greatest scorers of all time, on the prestigious list.
While the Golden State star recorded the tremendous feat in 886 games, Allen did so in 1,471 games with the next on the list being Reggie Miller, James Harden and Kyle Corber.
If this figure is not amazing enough, what about the next figure?
It was the 36th game in Kerry's career in which he scored nine threes or more, with the next on the list being Damien Lillard and James Harden, who have done so a total of nine times.
"Obviously it's a special feeling," said the excited Kerry at the end.
"I'm glad we played well, especially. We know how to handle things when needed. Obviously I'm happy with where we are."

Will Clay Thompson return to collaborate with Kerry soon?
According to a report in the United States, the guard who has not played since 2019 due to a serious injury may return after the Warriors' away games campaign.
"Golden State is embarking on a four-game away game after which Clay and James Weissman may return," it read.
"Both Thompson and Weissman have already started taking part in three-on-three and four-on-four indoor games, and they are one step back on the floor. While the team will play four away games, they will remain at the Golden State facility and work hard to get back on the field." Better day by day, "admitted Steve Kerr." The medical staff is slowly preparing him to return to the pitches, and I believe he will be back in two weeks. "
