Croatia qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup after defeating its Russian guest 1-0 in the meeting that brought them together today in the tenth and final round of European qualifiers.
The only winning goal for the Croatian national team was scored by Russian defender Fyodor Kudryashov, an own goal in the 81st minute of the match.
With this victory, Croatia won Group H in its favor with 23 points, one point ahead of its Russian counterpart, who will have to enter the qualifying European playoff.
