Teddy Riner finished with Paris SG in 3rd place in the French Men's Team Championship in Perpignan on Sunday, his first competition since the Tokyo Olympics.
PSG passed the first two rounds without a hitch, before being beaten sharply in the quarter-finals (3-0) by Flam 91, without Riner being able to enter the tatami for this duel.
The Parisians then went through the draft and won their three encounters to clinch bronze.
This French championship marked a brief return to competition for Riner who will resume serious business in January.

From Tokyo where he brought back a bronze medal in +100 kg and a team gold medal, Riner, 32, “took advantage of (his) medals, of (his) family and blew”, a he explained to AFP on Saturday.
“Of course, we would have liked to go to the final, but the main thing is to end the day on the podium,” said the judoka in remarks relayed by the Team.
Its real recovery is scheduled for January.
"I'm going to go back on hiatus, take the time to heal myself, do a check-up to find out what I have to settle between now and my recovery to be quiet by 2024," he concludes.
