- With a deserved 3: 1 (2: 0) win against TSV Siegsdorf, FC Moosinning remains in the district league in the battle for second place at ESV Freilassing.
The guests had to admit defeat for the first time after nine games without defeat.
With Matthias Eschbaumer and Tobi Bartl, two fresh players were allowed to play, and a varied game developed from the start. The guests had the first opportunity, but Manuel Schlesak chased the ball over the crossbar after a ricochet. On the other side, Georg Ball also set a shot too high before Stefan Haas made it better in the 8th minute. After great preparatory work by Bartl on the left, the ball landed after a Siegsdorf defense attempt at the Moosinningen midfielder, who made it 1-0 from close range. Shortly afterwards, Mäx Lechner could have increased, but the guests fended off his shot from the left-hand position with combined forces.
The guests had their greatest chance with a free kick from Felix Maaßen, which aimed just past the top left.
Bartl was served exemplary on the opposite side by Haas, his missile flew just over the crossbeam.
Florian Jakob did better in the 31st minute, taking the measure from a good 25 meters and sinking the ball flat with the help of the left inner post to make it 2-0.
Section two also went back and forth.
A TSV hit was denied recognition because of an offside position, while Stefan Mauerkirchner narrowly missed the target with a header.
On Moosinninger's side, Bartl failed again at the guest keeper, and Alex Auerweck also did not get past the keeper after a nice solo free in front of the goal.
In the middle of the second half Moosinning finally put the lid on.
Haas put the substitute Thomas Auerweck in the limelight, and a Siegsdorf defender brought him off his feet unfairly in the penalty area.
Dennis Stauf converted the due penalty to 3-0.
The guests rewarded themselves in the 78th minute with the goal of Stefan Mauerkirchner to 1: 3.
Jakob could have increased on the other side, but goalkeeper Fabian König was able to fend off his left-footed shot for a corner.
Moosinning is now looking forward to the end of the year at table leader Forstinning next Saturday.
