2022 World Cup: England and Switzerland in Qatar, Italy in the play-offs ... Update on the qualifiers

Switzerland and England joined Serbia, Spain, France, Belgium, Denmark, Croatia and Germany in Qatar on Monday.

There is still suspense in Group G, with the Netherlands (20 pts), Turkey and Norway (18 pts) in a handkerchief before the end of the 10th and final day of the qualifiers in the Europe zone.

Portugal and Italy will be among the 12 play-offs, who will battle it out on March 24 and 25, 2022 in three semi-finals and on March 28 and 29, 2022, in the three finals, offering three tickets.

Outside the Old Continent, we only know of two qualified, Brazil in South America and of course Qatar, host country of the 2022 World Cup.
