Danny Abdia is establishing his status in the NBA and tonight he recorded his best game of the season in Washington's fifth straight win, 100: 105 over New Orleans.
The Israeli forward recorded an impressive double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds and also added an assist, 2 steals and a big block at the start of the fourth quarter, where the host turned the bowl over with a crushing 20:32.
The Wizards were already 19 points behind, but as mentioned, they came back big in the fourth quarter where Abdia did not get off the floor and there is a reason for that.

The Israeli opened the quarter with two rebounds and then added a block on Gush Hart 80:75 behind.
Despite committing his fifth offense, Abdia remained on the floor and was signed to complete the turnaround with the 92-94 basket to Washington with 3:42 minutes left.
Earl added two points from the line and then Abdia scored another basket with an aggressive penetration into the paint and set up a 92:98 lead, a basket that actually ended the game.
Abdia got 28 minutes off the bench and was his team’s leading rebounder, also benefiting from 27 points and nine assists from the excellent Spencer Dinwidi, who dried up in Brooklyn and leads Washington this season to the top of the East with a very surprising 3:10 balance.
Cantabius Caldwell Pop added 18 and Montreux Harle added 15 to the team from the capital, which right now is undoubtedly the pleasant surprise of the season and this is when it again plays without its big star Bradley Bill, with whom the team may still get very far in the Eastern playoffs.

Brandon Ingram, on the other hand, bombed 31 points for the disappointing Pelicans who lost 13 in 15 games this season and continue to miss Zion Williamson.
Jonas Valencionas added 16 points that were not enough for New Orleans, which has suffered its tenth loss in the last 11 games.
The Wizards will once again take to the floor on the night between Wednesday and Thursday (2:00) against Charlotte.
