It is in Thailand, last weekend, that the video made the most talk, provoking, on the ground, unimaginable scenes.

During a first division match indeed, the VAR gave rise to an incredible scenario where the football match turned to the ridiculous.

The meeting, which went off without any worries, turned into chaos, sparked two strikes by the players and ended twenty-seven minutes beyond the regulation time.

As two top Thailand teams Khon Kaen and Bangkok United head to a goalless draw, a Bangkok United player falls into the box after a clash with an opposing defender. The action will switch the game to another dimension. The referee consults the VAR then designates the penalty point. Revolted, the Khon Kaen players left the field to protest. Carlos Eduardo Parreira, their coach, even encourages them not to return to the lawn.

After a long period of hesitation, however, they agreed to resume the match and the penalty was converted by Vander, the Bangkok scorer.

A handful of minutes later, the referee awarded another hazardous penalty, this time in favor of Khon Kaen, again with the help of VAR.

This time, it is the Bangkok United players who return to the locker room.

They too end up coming back to the lawn after long minutes of palaver, in a volcanic atmosphere.

Khon Kaen's captain, Ibson Melo, undoubtedly marked by the turn of events, completely misses his shot.

The meeting ended thus, in the most total confusion, after almost twenty-seven minutes of added time, with the victory of Bangkok United (1-0).
