The bowlers of VfB Hallbergmoos had reason to cheer on Saturday.
At 5.5: 2.5 in Schwabsberg, the two world championship drivers and the team captain shone.

- The bowlers at VfB Hallbergmoos have obviously coped well with the World Cup break: They won on the eighth Bundesliga matchday with 5.5: 2.5 points, 14:10 sets and 3772: 3637 wood at KC Schwabsberg and climbed with 8 : 6 counters to fifth place in the table.
The Hallbergers had to travel to Baden-Württemberg on Saturday without Thomas Schneider, who is currently doing his coaching license in Chemnitz.
Even before the game, VfB had thought of a tactical route: In the first round, the two strongest Schwabsbergers should get at least one team point.
Patrick Krieger met Daniel Beier, and Alexander Stephan met Mathias Dirnberger.
But the requirements could not be met because Krieger injured himself at the beginning of the game.
However, after VfB only had one substitute with Dietmar Brosi and it is generally risky to switch directly in the first few games, Krieger had to bite through despite a thigh strain.
In the end he lost a lot with 0: 4 sets at 563: 625 wood.
Alexander Stephan misses the chance to win
Alexander Stephan's match, on the other hand, was really exciting: If he was able to clearly win the first two sentences, Dirnberger grabbed the third and fourth.
Bitter: Stephan should only have scored a foursome in the last throw.
But he only managed a threesome while Dirnberger cleared everything.
With that, both had two sets and 645 cones each - a classic draw.

Half a team count and 62 wood backlog went into the middle games with Tobias Kramer and Radovan Vlajkov.
The latter, at least the newly crowned team world champion with Serbia, faced two opponents at once, because from the 43rd throw Bastian Hopp played for Fabian Seitz.
But Vlajkov acted unimpressed and prevailed with 3: 1 sets and 660: 567 cones.
Tobias Kramer, however, lost out to Stephan Drexler and lost 1: 3 and 587: 610.
Bogdan Tudorie and Damir Cekovic close the sack
Bogdan Tudorie and Damir Cekovic had to get the coals out of the fire - and both immediately gave full throttle.
Tudorie, who started at the World Cup for Romania and had twice improved his personal best there, again delivered a great result against Michael Schlosser and put his KC opponent in his place with 659: 561 pins and 4: 0 sets.
Cekovic also impressed in his game against Stefan Zürn.
Before he moved to Hallbergmoos, he had played for Schwabsberg for five years - and of course he wanted to show what he could do in his old home.
With 4: 0 sets and 658: 629 wood, the team captain once again demonstrated his class and thus ensured the overall victory of the VfB team.
