As an alternative, Kyrgios had mentioned daily tests.

Unvaccinated players are only allowed to enter Australia under strict conditions, which include a two-week hotel quarantine.

Victoria’s Sports Minister, Martin Pakula, had publicly rejected Kyrgios' request for rejection.

Kyrgios now agreed: "For vaccinated players, it is a great opportunity to bring the city of Melbourne and the people of Australia back together." gone «.

He himself lives for tournaments like the Australian Open and is not in favor of cancellation.

However, the tournament has to take place in the right way: "I want people's safety to be guaranteed."
