Syria's men's football team lost to its Iranian counterpart 3-0 in the match that brought them together today at Qweismeh Stadium in Jordan within the decisive round of World Cup qualifiers.

With this result, our team remained in the sixth and last place with two points in the first group in the decisive role, while the Iranian team raised its score to 16 points in the lead, followed by South Korea with 14 points, then the Emirates with 6 points, Lebanon with 5 points, and Iraq with 4 points.

Returning to the match, in the 33rd minute, the Iranian team opened the scoring with a goal by Sardar Azmoun. It also advanced with a second goal through Ehsan Safi from a penalty kick at the 42nd minute.
