Cham Wings Airlines, the sponsor of Al Wahda Club, launched the new shirt for its football team, during a ceremony held today at the company's headquarters in Damascus.
The new jersey for the orange shirt that Al Wahda players will wear in its upcoming matches is adorned with the most prominent landmark in the city of Damascus, the Damascene Sword.
In a statement to SANA, Director of Business Development and Public Relations at Cham Wings Company Osama Sate’a said that the launch of the new shirt for Al Wahda Club is a form of various forms of support provided by the company to the club in light of the continuity of the sponsorship contract that the company has committed to with the club since last season, indicating the importance of companies entering And economic activities to sponsor sports clubs in a way that contributes to the development of Syrian sports.
Chairman of the temporary committee of Al Wahda Club Muhannad Taha stated that Cham Wings' sponsorship of the club is a good step in supporting Al Wahda Club, which is one of the most prominent clubs, pointing to the clubs' need to enter the sponsoring companies to support them to ensure the upgrading of the reality of their players in various sports.
Al Wahda club player Ali Ramal explained that the support that the team receives carries a great responsibility towards exerting more efforts to compete strongly to achieve positive results in its upcoming matches.
