The FSG Moosburg air pistol shooters set a new record at the start of the district league - also thanks to newcomer Yannick Margolf.

- The FSG Moosburg is one of the most important ambassadors of the Schützengau Freising with its sporting achievements.
With four teams in three disciplines, the Dreirosenstadters shoot at district level.
The flagship teams with the air pistol and the sport pistol start this year with modest goals.
It's about maintaining the level that has been reached.
With the sport pistol the Moosburgers are represented twice at the district level - with the first team in the upper league and with the second a class below in the district league. The first sport pistol team is already in the top league and currently occupies a place in the middle of the table. With 6: 4 points, the FSG is third and is only two points behind first place.
The air pistol category was so far more of a by-product at Moosburger Feuerschützen, but it has developed successfully.
Actually, this team wanted to start at the bottom in the round competition, but was then divided directly into the Gauoberliga due to the prominent cast.
The aim was to spare the pistol teams in the lower classes from losing to the FSG without a chance.
After two years Gauoberliga, the path then led to the district league, where the best team with the air pistol in Gau Freising is now officially put in place.

Moosburg started the new round with a 1435: 1423 win against Mehring, in which Hans-Jürgen Reischl could live well with a secured midfield position. After the first competitions in the District League North-East 2, the Dreirosenstadters also achieved the best result with the 1435 rings against Mehring. Reischl is very impressed by this result, because the team was just under an average of 360 rings per shooter, which is a really strong performance with the air pistol.
With 367 rings, Yannick Margolf made a tailor-made debut as the best Moosburger.
He moved to the area and was looking for a club where he could practice shooting at a higher level.
"He's an absolute stroke of luck for us," says Hans-Jürgen Reischl.
The newcomer not only has a great athletic class, but is also set for the two teams in the air pistol district league and sports pistol upper league.
He can make all the difference, especially in close duels.
Every shooting club dreams of such a request out of nowhere.
