There were victories at the weekend for the handball players of HSG Freising-Neufahrn and SC Eching in the regional league.
But the Eching coach was not satisfied.

- Thanks to a narrow home success, the handball men of the HSG Freising-Neufahrn remain at the top of the regional league.
The Echinger team could also look forward to a victory and are directly behind in third place in the table.
HSG Freising-Neufahrn - TG Landshut II 26:21 (8:10).
The defense had been very good for over 60 minutes, praised Freising's head of department Jürgen Steinhauer.
"In the first section we found the gaps in the attack too seldom and had a success rate of less than 50 percent."

In the second section, things went much better at the HSG.
It started with the goalkeepers: In addition to the strong Andreas Meßner, newcomer Bence Veres made his debut and did well with a few saves.
Another newcomer, Elias Küpper, directed the team on the field.
Steinhauer praised: "He always put his teammates in the limelight intelligently or got seven meters out himself."
It stayed balanced until 19:19, but then the HSG fired the turbo and pulled away clearly through a strong final phase.
Steinhauer's conclusion: "Today the men showed a good team performance, everyone had their own actions, and we deservedly won the game."

After ten minutes, Christoph Weilbach injured his eye and could not continue.
Konstantin Daum hit the knee shortly afterwards.
With 9:10 the Echinger were behind for a while before the best phase followed.
Thomas Landsmann in particular now scored for his team, but despite his total of 13 goals, he still had room for improvement, emphasized coach Monz.
The break whistle came with a 17:13 for the SCE, but in the second section it got really tight again.
From 24:20 onwards, there wasn't much going on in the game, MBB SG Manching caught up.
Whether at 24:25 or later at 28:29: The home side came close to the equalizer, but didn't make it.
The conclusion of Monz: "We made it unnecessarily exciting by way too many technical errors and wrong decisions." The only exception were the strong performances of goalkeepers Maximilian Ernst and Niklas Jahn, he praised.
