Bayern Munich announced that its Croatian defender, Josep Stanicic, had contracted Corona, a few days after his colleague Niklas Zule was isolated due to the virus.
The Bavarian club stated in its statement that the result of Josep Stanicic's examination appeared positive, despite receiving a full dose of vaccine, and that he isolated himself at home and is in good condition.
Defender Zule is still in quarantine after contracting the virus ten days ago, and Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who self-isolated after Zule became infected, returned to training.
Bayern, the leaders of the (Bundesliga), will visit Augsburg next Friday, and will face Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League next week.
