A bang before the derby against Langengeisling: the cashier and both department heads stop at the end of the season.

There are no successors in sight, players and TSV president are surprised.

Dorfen

- The entire football tour of TSV Dorfen will stop at the end of the season.

That is what department head Berni Schöberl told the local newspaper yesterday.

The teams and coaches who were surprised by the step had already been informed beforehand.

There are no successors in sight, the search should begin as soon as possible.

"That was definitely not an easy decision," said Schöberl. “And it's not like we stop because we don't feel like it anymore. There was also nothing, on the contrary ”. It was simply not possible to put the department management on a broader basis in the long term in order to distribute tasks better. Schöberl really appreciated the support and help that was there. But unfortunately the commitment was mostly not lasting. "Now it has just become too much," regrets the head of department. He had not brought family, work and the TSV on time. Without the necessary time to manage the department with half the strength - "that makes no sense".

Schöberl now drew the logical conclusion and announced his withdrawal.

That leaves time to find successors.

There will be an information event soon.

The hope is that a new head of department can be elected as early as February.

"We are then not completely gone and of course we continue to support TSV football", Schöberl promises his successors.

His deputy Werner Aimer and treasurer Sascha Jost also justified their withdrawal with professional and private reasons.

Decisions were always made unanimously, "and there were no internal disputes," emphasized Aimer.

He explained: "The dimension for the department head in the constellation as we have it is difficult to agree on in terms of time for me." In terms of effort, the football department is run like a small company.

Andreas Hartl, captain of the district league team, assured that he had no idea about the move. The news was received "with great understanding". He himself feels the decision is "very, very unfortunate". But he could fully understand the aspects. The entire head of the department is doing “their job really, really great, and they always have an open ear for us”.

"Sad, it's a shame" - that's how TSV President Bernd Schmidbauer reacted.

The reasons mentioned are "very understandable".

This time he will definitely not step in as head of the football department on a temporary basis: "That is not possible for a limited time and not even with the TSV president in view of the other departments." could have taken place in a public meeting.
