Moshe's arrest celebrates in the "big game" affair also resonates with overseas football teams that have been in contact with him. One of them is Barcelona, which announced yesterday (Thursday) the cancellation of the business agreement with the marketing company Ownix due to its ties with Betar owners.
"Barcelona hereby announces that as of this moment it has ceased all business cooperation with Ownix, due to information that reached our ears during the day that goes against the values the club wants to promote," read the official announcement on Barcelona's official website and club accounts on the social network.
The company was quick to shake off the Israeli businessman and the actions attributed to him, but this did not prevent the Catalan club from withdrawing from the partnership agreement he signed with the company only at the beginning of this month.
Catalonia is now pointing the finger of blame at President Juan Laporta, who linked the club to the marketing company.
One site listed a list of 10 "leaks" of the president since he began his second term at the club, and along with the parting with Leo Messi and the lack of clarity in defining the role of Jordi Cruyff, gave a recent affair in which Moshe celebrates a "respectable" place on the list.
