"With Kerry you always have a chance, he's one of the greatest players in history, and the greatest threes scorer ever," stated his coach Steve Kerr, "The way he moves without the ball, understands the game whether the ball is with him or not, he is fearless. "He was always able to warm up like that, nothing surprises me anymore and I'm still amazed, if it makes any sense at all. It's amazing to watch and I expect it to happen. It's his great, to expect something to happen and then he does it."

The Scorer's partner in making the Warriors one of the best teams ever, Drymond Green, did not spare compliments: "We needed him to warm up and that's exactly what he did. That's why he's the league's MVP, that's why he led us to so many successes."
Another teammate, Juan Tuscany Anderson, chose to use an interesting parallel: "It's like getting into a fight with Mike Tyson by your side. With him, you obviously have all the confidence. I said before the season that Kerry is the best player in the world, and when he's by your side it gives you confidence."
As amazing as it is, Kerry was not one hundred percent qualified when he provided the electrifying display.
The quarterback injured his hip when he ran into James Harden in the previous game against Brooklyn, and that could cause him to miss the team's upcoming game in Detroit.

Kerry, who like LeBron James was born in the city of Akron near Cleveland, has a long history with the Cavaliers, as he faced them in four consecutive NBA Finals.
This time, he received the reception of a local hero when in the second away game in a row he won the shouts of "MVP".
"I appreciate the readings, but don't think about it too much."
In the shadow of the display on the offensive side, Kerry was asked at the end if he aspires to be included in one of the defensive fives of the season in light of the improvement he has made on this side of the pitch.
"If you want to open this campaign for me, please do so," Kerry told a reporter who raised the issue, "I would love to do my part to make you a prophet."
With 9 threes tonight, Stephen Curry breaks his own record for most threes made by a player in his first 15 games of a season.

And now, for the numbers:
- Kerry's 85 shots off the arc so far this season are the highest amount in history for a player in the first 15 games of the season.
In second place is Kerry of course with 80 threes in 2018/19, and he also ranks third with 74 threes in the 2015/16 season, when he last won the MVP title.
- This is the fourth time in the last six games that Kerry has scored nine threes or more.
He is the first of all time with 38 games of 9+ threes, with second place being shared by James Harden and Damian Lillard with nine games each.
- Kerry leads the league in the plus / minus index with +205, while the second place stands at +139, far behind.
