PSG-Nantes: Neymar is no longer injured

2021-11-19T13:40:32.785Z

The Brazilian, who suffered from an injury to the adductors of the left thigh, is finally fit for PSG - Nantes this Saturday at the Parc des Pri

Finally, he can play.

Neymar is not in the infirmary, unlike the first echoes that appeared on Thursday.

PSG's medical statement on Friday does not mention his name while the Brazilian was able to participate normally in the entire collective session this Friday at the Lodges camp.

He can therefore play PSG - Nantes this Saturday at the Parc des Princes for the 14th day of Ligue 1, and a fortiori the shock at Manchester City on Wednesday in the Champions League.

It remains to be seen whether, due to his slight discomfort, Mauricio Pochettino will preserve him against the Canaries or start him.

For the rest, no major injuries are to be deplored.

But Gianluigi Donnarumma will not be able to hold his place against the men of Antoine Kombouaré.

The Italian “did not train today (this Friday) with the group for symptoms of gastroenteritis.

He will train tomorrow (Saturday) (...) for a gradual recovery ”.

His presence in England next week is not assured.

The other wounded were known.

"Rafinha continues her care for the right hip and has resumed the race", states the medical point.

"Alexandre Letellier will be absent 10 days for a muscle problem in the quadriceps".

As for Julian Draxler, "he continues his care for a return to competition scheduled between 4 and 5 weeks," writes PSG.

For him, the year 2021 seems already over or not far away.
