Summary: Austria - Israel 2.4 (Sports 1)
Eran Zehavi's injury in the Israeli national team's game against Austria may be more complicated than he initially thought.
Today (Friday) Roger Schmidt, PSV Eindhoven coach, held the press conference ahead of his team's game against Vitesse and during which he updated on the Israeli's condition.
The Football Association announced the morning after the game in Austria that Zahavi based on initial tests may be absent for about four weeks, but Schmidt made it clear that Zahavi will not play again in 2021 and will hopefully return after the winter break, which ends in mid-January.
Schmidt also added that at this stage there is also a fear that Zahavi will have to undergo surgery, but that he will have further tests next week and only after that will it be determined whether a surgical procedure is necessary.

In the Netherlands, it is estimated that even if Zahavi does not need surgery in the end, the knee injury will disable him for a total of about three months, given the fact that the league is going on winter break in about a month and it is estimated that he will return in early February.
As part of the 13th round in the Netherlands, PSV Eindhoven will host Vitesse and Eli Desa tomorrow (Saturday, 17:30 in Sport4).
