Nine months after his serious car accident, golf superstar Tiger Woods published training pictures of himself for the first time.
The 45-year-old posted a three-second video clip on Twitter.
It shows the five-time Masters winner on an unidentifiable golf course hitting a ball with an iron club in shorts and a polo shirt.
Woods wears a compression stocking on his right leg, which was badly injured in the accident.
The clip is headed: "Making progress".
The timing of the video was obviously chosen deliberately.
Woods' foundation, the TGR Foundation, turned 25 on November 18th.
At the beginning of December, the foundation is holding a charity tournament in the Bahamas with 20 invited top players.
Woods suffered several bone injuries
Woods had gotten off the road by car in Los Angeles on February 23, rolled over several times and suffered complicated fractures in his leg.
"Open debris fractures that affected the upper and lower parts of the tibia and fibula were stabilized by a rod in the tibia," reported the doctor Anish Mahajan in a statement circulated by Woods management.
Additional bone injuries in the foot and ankle were stabilized with a combination of screws and pins.
In April Woods had already posted a photo of himself on Instagram, also on a golf course, at that time still with crutches.
