FC Bayern: Serge Gnabry and three other Munich professionals have to be in quarantine

After Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala, Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting and Michael Cuisance also had to go into corona quarantine at FC Bayern.

The quartet was in contact "with a person in the immediate vicinity of the FC Bayern team who tested positive for the corona virus," said the soccer record champions.

The unvaccinated Kimmich had gone into quarantine for the weekend because he had been in contact with a suspected corona case in private.

Gnabry, Musiala and Choupo-Moting were still used by coach Julian Nagelsmann on Friday evening in the 1: 2 defeat in Augsburg.

Cuisance sat on the bench for the entire duration of the game.

Bayern will play in the Champions League at Dynamo Kiev this Tuesday, and Munich have already qualified for the next round.

The Bundesliga match against Arminia Bielefeld is scheduled for the coming weekend, before the top match at Borussia Dortmund on December 4th.

The national players Kimmich, Gnabry and Musiala as well as Choupo-Moting recently had to be quarantined during the international game phase after defender Niklas Süle tested positive for the corona virus with the DFB team.
