In the top five weight competitions at the Sessem World Military Freestyle Wrestling Championships, which was held in Tehran, Iran won five different medals: two gold, two silver and one bronze.
At the conclusion of the first five weight competitions, Iranian wrestlers Morteza Standard and Mohammad Hossein Mohammadian in the 65 and 97 kilogram categories won the gold medal, while the wrestlers Ahmad Mohammad Nejad Jawan and Fribers Babaei in the 57 and 74 kilogram categories won the silver, and Hadi Wafaipour in the 86 kilogram category managed to get Bronze medal.
At the end of these competitions for the top five weights, the Russian team scored 115 points to settle in first place, followed by the Iranian team with 105 points.
