As for the under-18 category, its competitions ended with Al-Arabi first with 4 golds and 3 silvers, and the Army secondly with gold, silver and 4 bronze, then split third with gold, silver and bronze.
The head of the Karate Federation, Jihad Mia, said in a statement to SANA that this tournament is the final activity of the federation’s plan with regard to local competitions and tournaments, and it was distinguished technically and organizationally, as it witnessed wide participation from various clubs. current season.
Mia pointed out that the federation invited the karate team in the Special Needs Village to participate in this tournament through a presentation they presented with the aim of shedding light on this segment and its ability to challenge to prove their skills in sports with the aim of integrating them into society.
Referee Nisreen Mansour pointed out that the tournament was arbitrated according to specific laws and did not witness arbitration objections. It was also an opportunity for the referees to hone their skills, especially after the central session held by the federation on the sidelines of the tournament, indicating that the Karate arbitration cadres are distinguished cadres and their ambition is great to reach the arbitration of world championships .
