Before the normal mode against FC Unterföhring could continue next Saturday, the regional league footballers of SE Freising have to pass the catch-up game in Grünwald on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m.
It is not yet certain whether the SEF will be able to muster its winning team from Saturday.
Corona was to blame that the meeting between TSV Grünwald and SE Freising had to be canceled at short notice. With the catch-up date originally set a week ago, the lark fields in Grünwald would have had to come up without prior training. “We are therefore extremely grateful to coach Florian de Prato and department head Paul Seidl that they have met us in such a sporting way and that we can only catch up with the game now,” emphasizes SEF coach Alex Plabst.
For SE Freising, the main thing now is to stay on the road to success.
Because a look at the league table should not be misleading: The Freising are currently seventh, but the teams have moved closer together.
With a few defeats, it goes very quickly from midfield to the table cellar - that's why the youngest three-point against SB DJK Rosenheim was extremely important.
"We are currently happy about every point," says Plabst, who looks forward to the match in Grünwald with respect.

"This is where teams meet that have had a lot of staff this season," says Plabst. His footballers seem to be able to at least compensate for the enormous personnel problems better than Grünwald at the moment. This is proven by the well-deserved three-point against Rosenheim. Such a sense of achievement should give the necessary tailwind for the Grünwald game. "The most important points recently took the pressure off the team, of course," admits Plabst. "We definitely want to take the momentum from the Rosenheim game with us."
Plabst would prefer to compete with the winning team from Saturday in Grünwald.
After his shoulder injury in the Rosenheim game, there is a question mark behind Daniel Zanker's commitment.
Because the corona incidences continue to rise, Plabst expects the season to be interrupted during the week.
