Bayern Munich defeated its Ukrainian host, Dynamo Kiev, with two goals in the match that brought them together today in the fifth round of the group stage of the European Champions League.

Bayern Munich achieved its fifth victory in a row to take the top spot in Group E with a full score of 15 points, and had previously qualified for the 16th round of the tournament. On the other hand, Dynamo Kiev's balance froze at only one point and is at the bottom of the standings.
