Dutch midfielder Leke Martins won the "Golden Girl" award as the best female footballer for 2021.
According to the Italian newspaper (Tutosport), which awarded the award, Martins won the Champions League with Barcelona last season and is scheduled to receive the award on the 13th of next December as part of an event organized in Turin, Italy.
Martins, 28, won the Spanish League last season and the European Championship in 2017 with her country.
