The regional league footballers of SE Freising lost the catch-up game in Grünwald after two defensive carvers with 1: 2.

Freising

- After the most recent three against Rosenheim, the state league footballers of SE Freising had the legitimate hope of at least one draw in the catch-up game at TSV Grünwald.

But nothing came of that: The Domstadters had to give TSV a deserved 1: 2 (1: 1) defeat on Tuesday evening.

"The Christkindl came four weeks earlier for the Grünwalder today," said SEF coach Alex Plabst, referring to the unnecessary defeat of his team.

“It would not have been as easy as on Tuesday evening to get at least one point in Grünwald.

With that we would have reached the important 30-point mark. "

It was clear to Plabst after a few seconds that it would not be an easy game for the Lerchenfelder: "The Grünwalder went into the duels incredibly aggressively right from the start." As so often in this season, the Freising was unable to counter.

Plabst says that many players with pronounced tackle behavior would have been absent from the SEF.

Bright spot just before the break

The Freising gave out the first gift after just six minutes: Grünwald's Luca Tschaidse benefited from a catastrophic defensive carver on the SEF defensive and had no trouble making it 1-0.

With that, the guests were first served: it took them almost half an hour to find their way halfway to their rhythm.

In stoppage time of the first half there was the first ray of hope from the Freising's point of view: After a remarkable combination between Luka Brudtloff and Florian Bittner, Brudtloff equalized to 1-1.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

With the kick-off of the second half, the Freising took over the reins.

The equalization had provided the necessary tailwind.

The SEF-Elf seemed to be able to turn the game.

Then out of nowhere the 2: 1 for the hosts: A long ball from the defense reached Tschaidse - and again there was complete disorientation in the SEF back team, so that Tschaidse could not help but sink the ball (57.) .

The second Christmas present.

Goalgetter Andreas Hohlenburger replaced injured

In the final sprint, the Freisinger put everything on one card. How weak the Grünwalder were in the end, was shown by the fact that they miserably muddled the best counter-chances. But the SEF offensive did not earn good grades either. Alex Plabst did not want to use as an excuse that goalgetter Andreas Hohlenburger had to be replaced shortly after the break and that Felix Fischer had to leave a little later.

Conclusion: The performance fluctuations at the SEF are extremely large this season.

After two nice home wins recently, the Freising footballers disappointed in Grünwald on Tuesday.

"Now we have to make the necessary points in the second half of the next year so that we have left five other teams behind us in May and thus stay in the league," said Coach Plabst, assessing the current situation quite soberly.
