Türkgücü Munich is once again looking for a coach.

Regardless of who takes over in the third division, President Hasan Kivran's club has long since missed its goals for the season.

Munich - Maybe things started too quickly and too well at the beginning of the 2020/21 season. Türkgücü Munich mixed up the 3rd division with refreshing offensive football. Sercan Sararer was able to build on good performances from the past, Petar Sliskovic scored goals on the assembly line. Second place after the second match day, fourth place - two points behind city rivals TSV 1860 - after the end of the first half of the season at the beginning of January. The club seemed to be picking up where it started in the 2017/18 season after financier and president Hasan Kivran joined. Four consecutive promotions to paid football.

Then at the beginning of February the bang, from which Türkgücü Munich * has not yet recovered.

Coach Alexander Schmidt was dismissed - the team was seventh, five points behind in third place.

Andi Pummer stepped in as an interim solution, celebrated two wins and then - at least officially - had to go back to the second rank behind Serdar Dayat, because he had the missing football instructor license.

Its greatest success: The qualification for the final in the Toto Cup.

In the league, he got a meager seven points in nine games.

After 72 days, the Dayat era was over and Andi Pummer had to step in again.

Türkgücü Munich: Toto Cup victory and participation in the DFB Cup the highlight in 2021

After a disappointing second half of the season, the only sporting bright spot followed in 2021: The victory in the Toto Cup final at the end of June against regional league team FV Illertissen with 8: 7 after penalties.

At this point in time, Petr Ruman was the fourth and fifth trainer (twice Pummer) who was responsible for the squad.

By reaching the first main round in the DFB-Pokal *, the club achieved its first prestigious success in professional football.

But even the Czech was not allowed to work long on Heinrich-Wieland-Straße.

After the DFB Cup against Union Berlin * and nine league games with three wins, three draws and three defeats, the 45-year-old had to pack his bags again.

"Peter Hyballa is not slippery - that suits us", Max Kothny announced the Ruman's successor in September, only to fire him 64 days after he was hired.

In the press release on the dismissal of Hyballa, the managing director then assured that the club would like to "give intensive thought to the route for the coming weeks and months".

"At this point I appeal to the team and the entire environment of the club: We have to be aware of the explosive nature of the current sporting situation and show a reaction together, fight our way out and get points again."

Türkgücü Munich: Goals for the 2021/22 season are almost impossible to achieve

First, the sports director Roman Plesche and Kothny will try to hire a new trainer. It will certainly not be easy to find someone to take the ejection seat as the sixth coach in 2021. In the current situation, Türkgücü actually needs a seasoned and experienced coach with two meager points ahead of the first relegation position, but who wants to do this job in the restless and nervous environment? That this shot has to be right would be an understatement, because that would have already been said when Ruman or Hyballa were signed.

Türkgücü Munich has already completely missed the goals of the season.

Due to the fact that the Toto Cup at Regionalliga-promoted TSV Aubstadt, qualification for the first round of the DFB-Pokal 2022 is hardly possible.

The new coach would have to do a similar series with his team as the 2nd team of FC Bayern * in 2020.

The U23 from Säbener Straße * marched from 15th place - Türkgücü is currently one rank lower - up to the championship.

Fourth place would be enough for participation in the DFB Cup, but the gap is nine points after 16 games.

Türkgücü Munich is threatened with falling to a relegation place in the 3rd division

Even the ambitious club management on Heinrich-Wieland-Straße will probably not expect that. Even if the transfer carousel could turn particularly fast there again during the winter break, players who have been sorted out and new ones will come, there is not enough time. The new man must first try to drive away the ghost of relegation with the staff made available to him.

Until the winter break, the club still has three home games against Zwickau, Kaiserslautern, Verl and one away game in Berlin.

A key game is already waiting for the end of the 17th matchday on Monday.

In the Olympiastadion against FSV Zwickau (we report in the live ticker) a victory has to be achieved.

If MSV Duisburg or SV Verl win, Türkgücü slips into a relegation place before kick-off and the pressure would increase again.
