Under a blazing sun threatened by squalls, the Northerner and his co-skipper, Morgan Lagravière, were the first to cross the finish line of the Transat Jacques Vabre on their Imoca




A resounding victory - their pursuers are only expected in Martinique this Friday, in a dream setting.

This is the ideal combo to definitely chase away the last clouds still lodged, perhaps, in a corner of his head.

Ten months earlier, the night, drizzle and tears had escorted him to Sables-d'Olonne, during the traditional ascent of the channel.

Happy and relieved to find Anne-Laure, his partner, and Zélie and Basile, separated from their dad for 80 days, Rouillard also harbored frustration after a 6th place which did not make him happy.
