This Thursday, Thomas Rettant and Morgan Lagravière crossed the finish line of the Transat Jacques Vabre in the bay of Fort-de-France. After 18 days of crossing, the

won the race in the Imoca category. Brilliantly since their first pursuers, defending champion Charlie Dalin and Paul Meilhat (
Apivia
), are over 180 miles. 3rd, Jérémie Beyou and Christopher Pratt (
Charal
) are 240 miles behind. In this match for the win with three boats, the winners took the lead in Cape Verde never to let go and widen their lead day after day.
6th in the last Vendée Globe after having been forced to cut one of the foils of his boat, at the age of 40, Rignée signed one of the most beautiful victories of his career, he who has already won the Mini-Transat (2009), the Route du Rhum (Class40, 2010) and the Transat AG2R (2018).
