In this top-of-the-table match, of the 15th day of L1, Lens (4th) and Angers (6th) put on a show this Friday evening before leaving.

The slap in Brest (4-0) last Sunday was partly erased by the Lensois.

Franck Haise's men have, in fact, collected the draw in front of Angers (2-2) this Friday evening in the first match of the 15th day of L1.

After a spectacular match, Lens (4th) and Angers (6th) consolidate their place at the top of the table.

What you must remember

After a round of observation of 20 minutes, the two teams are emboldened. Angers was initially dangerous on a strike from Fulgini flush with the skylight (20th) then a recovery from Boufal after a good service from Cho (23rd). The Lensois replied on a ride from Ganago (24th) then a shot from Kakuta on the small net of Petkovic (25th). It is finally the SCO which opens the scoring at the end of the first act on a dive of Boufal after a cons roundly carried out (0-1, 43rd).

The Northerners react immediately upon returning from the locker room by reversing the score within 7 minutes.

Kakuta mystifies Petkovic with a half-volley from the left with perfect balance after a service from Haïdara (1-1, 48 ').

In the process, Frankowski centers towards the near post and Sotoca who cuts the trajectory of the right (2-1, 55th).

Not discouraged, Angers equalized on a corner taken from the head by Thomas (2-2, 71st).

At the last second of the game, Seko Fofana came close to winning his team, but Petkovic put out a decisive save.

Man of the match: Florian Sotoca

The Lensois striker was first the unfortunate hero of the meeting.

His pass intercepted by Ounahi in the middle of the field brought the first Angevin goal before the break.

But, the former Grenoble striker recovered after the break by scoring the 2nd goal of a superb recovery after a millimeter service from Frankowski.

He could even have scored a double - and the goal of the break - but his header went flush with the post of Petkovic (69th).

He left his place to Corentin Jean 10 minutes from the end.

Almost silent (only one assist) since his superb match in Marseille (2 goals and an assist) at the end of September, the native of Narbonne took advantage of the absence of Arnaud Kalimuendo (suspended) to highlight himself.

The number 5

Angers is the king of draws on the road this season with a 6th draw recorded in 8 games.

Baticle's men had brought back the points sharing of Lille (1-1), Saint-Etienne (2-2), Troyes (1-1), Brest (1-1) and Bordeaux (1-1).

They won in Strasbourg (0-2) and lost only once at the Parc des Princes against PSG (2-1).

The reactions

Florian Sotoca (Lens) on Prime Video: “The result is mixed after our average first half.

We were much better in the second half.

We lead 2-1 then we take a stupid goal from a set piece.

We faced a great team from Angers.

The score is fair.

We did not know how to put the third goal of the break.

We retain our reaction.

It's a shame not to have won but it is good not to have lost.

"

Romain Thomas (Angers) on Prime Video: “We are over-motivated here.

It's a shame that we don't hold the 1-0 longer.

We didn't give up.

We work well and we are rewarded.

Their attackers made us run.

It's a fair draw throughout the game.
