The Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires was filled for the first time since the outbreak of the Corona plague, and it happened with perfect timing.
River came into the game with a nine-point lead over the Second Tagers (who have already lost in the current round), so she knew that even a draw would complete the job for her.
Agustin Flavino shook the stadium with a first goal in the 32nd minute, which set up the half-time score.

Three minutes from the start of the second half, the team's young hit, Julian Albers, scored the second goal that pretty much closed a story against the team from 16th place in the table.
Then, the one who stole the show in the championship game is striker Brian Romero, who completed a quick double in the 68th and 78th minutes and sealed a wonderful evening for the Reds-Whites fans.
By the way, the Tagers also managed to lose the second place to Defensa & Justicia, who equaled it in the number of points but enjoyed a better goal difference and a victory in the direct meeting.
For the luxury club this is the 37th championship in its history, more than any other club and three more than its successor, bitter rival Boca Juniors.
