Russia's Valeeva wins world record in figure skating

Moscow, SANA- Russian player Camila Valeeva set a new world record in the fiction program competition.

Russian Kamila Valeeva set a new world record in the figure skating short program competition this season in Sochi.

Valeeva scored 78.42 points and set a new world record for the number of points in the women's individual skating short program, after the previous record of the Russian player Alina Kostornaya was 85.45 points.

Another player from Russia came in second place, Elizaveta Toktamysheva with 80.10, the third American Maria Bell with 37.69 and Russian Maya Khromykh in fifth place with 64.72 points.
