Pierre Ménès, 58, a former sports journalist from Canal +, is the subject of a preliminary investigation opened on November 20 for sexual assault.

According to corroborating sources, the facts would have occurred the same day at the Parc des Princes in the context of the PSG-Nantes match (3-1, 14th day of Ligue 1).

Present as a spectator, Pierre Ménès would have committed inappropriate gestures in the stadium enclosure by touching the chest of a hostess.

Heard by the police, the victim did not wish to file a complaint.

But faced with the elements gathered, the Paris prosecutor's office decided to open a preliminary investigation into the count of sexual assault.

Contacted this Monday evening, the lawyer for the former columnist of the Canal Football Club, Me Arash Derambarsh, disputes the accusations against his client.

“Pierre Mènes attended the PSG-Nantes match,” confirms the Parisian penalist.

He was accompanied by three people throughout the evening.

There was absolutely no problem.

The evening went very well and this is confirmed by the CERFA certificates of the three people who accompanied him everywhere.

My client will file a complaint for slanderous denunciation if their honor or consideration is harmed.

"

Sidelined last spring by the encrypted channel following the broadcast of a documentary which notably pointed out his sexist behavior, Pierre Ménès has since launched a new digital platform in which he continues to treat, in his own way, football news.
