Senior members of the gymnastics association have known for several weeks about the Israeli coach's move and even told Walla this morning!

Sports because a month ago Vigdorchik stayed for a week with the Russian team and after a mutual impression, the parties decided to tie a knot for joint work.

"Ira has always been very close to Irina Wiener-Osmanova, chairwoman of the Russian Gymnastics Association, and it was natural that after the contract was terminated in Israel, she would move in with them," Walla was told this morning!

Sports factors involved in details.

"Ira was about a month ago in a kind of trial week for both sides. She returned to Israel and a short time later packed her things and flew there. It is really no surprise to anyone in the Israel Gymnastics Association."

Vigdorchik has been a controversial figure for years and one of the best-known coaches in the Olympic field.

Her supporters have always talked about a professional and dedicated coach and her critics have talked about someone who does not get sick by any means and sometimes even harms her apprenticeship.

One thing everyone agreed on, Vigdorchik was patriotic and always spoke in praise of the state.

Now many say it will be strange to see her come to the European Championships to be held in Israel next year as the coach of the Russian national team.

"I guess they pushed Ira out so she had no choice but to get up and leave. We always saw before our eyes a figure at the top of her agenda, love of country and flag," one of her apprentices said this morning.

Wiener-Osmanova herself, who is a very well-known figure in Russia and married to oligarch Elishar Osmanov, who co-owns Arsenal, told Russian media this morning: "Vigdorchik is an expert in her field who expressed her desire to come here. She is originally from Moscow and speaks excellent Russian. "Foreigners like Ludmila Dimitrova from Bulgaria who worked here for 18 years, and this appointment was very simple."
