Allison, how are you approaching this World Championship, just six months after your Olympic coronation in Tokyo?
Allison Pineau:
It's necessarily special because we approach it with a different group.
Several players (Amandine Leynaud, Alexandra Lacrabère and Siraba Dembélé in particular) have retired internationally, which means that a framework must be put back in place.
And it will not be easy in this World Championship because I believe that we have inherited the most difficult group.
Has being an Olympic champion changed your life?
Yes, that has clearly changed things.
Being an Olympic champion is not an end in itself for me, but inevitably that by achieving one of my biggest dreams, the rest is different.
You have to know how to re-motivate yourself, but also give yourself time and unfortunately, we don't have much.
This is what is the most difficult to manage because we have not yet come down from our cloud that we must already start again
