The Syrian national football team lost today against its UAE counterpart, with two goals to one, at the beginning of its campaign in the Arab Cup held in Qatar.
The first half ended with the UAE advancing with two goals without a response, scored by Caio in the 24th minute and Ali Saleh in the 30th minute, while the goal of reducing the difference for our team came through the safety response in the 60th minute.
Our team will meet in the next round of the tournament with Tunisia next Friday, to face Mauritania next Monday in the first round.
