The bad luck continues: LeBron James is positive for Corona and will go into isolation

After missing 11 games due to injuries and suspension, the Lakers star missed the game in Sacramento at the last minute because he was positive in the third Test.

The Lakers defeated Sacramento 92: 117 away tonight, but before the game a big drama ensued when it became clear that the vaccinated LeBron James had contracted Corona and would be absent from a number of games for his team.

LeBron reportedly did 3 corona tests.

The first test was positive, the second test was negative and the third and decisive test came back positive.

The club claim LeBron is asymptomatic, but did not take any risks and flew the star back to Los Angeles on a private jet.

"Obviously it's a big loss for us," coach Frank Vogel said before the game his team won, "it's disappointing. We want the best for him right now. Our thoughts are focused on that."

This is a serious blow for the Lakers and LeBron, who has already missed half of his team's games this season due to injury and suspension (11 of 22).

The Lakers are back on a 4-7 record with LeBron this season and without him they have suffered seven losses in ten games.

If LeBron is indeed officially declared positive for Corona, he will go into solitary confinement for a minimum of ten days and will not do any physical activity at all.

After this period of isolation, LeBron, who has been vaccinated against the virus, will need to undergo a cardiology test and additional tests to return to full activity.
