Summary: Daniel Medvedev - Sasha Zebrav 6: 4, 6: 4 (Sport 1)

The WTA has not been convinced of the recent signs of Feng Shui's life and tonight (Wednesday) released a dramatic announcement that all tournaments in China and Hong Kong are currently canceled.

WTA President Steve Simon wrote an official statement: "On November 2, Feng Shui issued accusations against a senior Chinese government official and we understood that her complaint must be heard and taken seriously. WTA players and of course women around the world deserve much more than that."

Simon went on to write: "As a result of everything that has happened since then and with the full support of the WTA directors, I announce the cancellation of all WTA tournaments in China, including Hong Kong. I do not see how I can ask our athletes to compete there when Feng Shui is not allowed to speak freely And pressured her to retract her claims. In light of the current situation, I am very concerned about the risks that all of our athletes may face if we play in China.

"I'm very encouraged by the support the WTA has received in light of our position on the issue. To protect Feng and women around the world, it's very important that people can talk. The WTA will do everything possible to protect the actresses. As we do, I hope That leaders around the world will continue to talk about the issue so that justice can be done for Feng and for all women, no matter what the economic consequences of it. I'm so sorry it got to this point. The tennis authorities in China and Hong Kong are full of good people who have worked for years. .
