The Milan crisis paves the way for an end to the nightmare of Barcelona

Spanish press reports revealed that the great injury suffered by the Danish defender Simon Kjaer, AC Milan, may contribute to resolving the Barcelona crisis.

And according to the Catalan newspaper, Sport, Milan is studying the contract with French defender Samuel Umtiti, Barcelona defender, in the next Mercato, after Kier underwent an arthroscopic operation in the knee ligaments yesterday to stay away from the field for several months.

The newspaper pointed out that Milan coach Stefano Pioli asked the Rossoneri administration to sign a defensive deal in January, and Umtiti is one of the names strongly nominated to move to San Siro.

Umtiti has not participated with Barca since the beginning of the season, and there is a desire within the Camp Nou to get rid of him because of his large salary and the lack of need for his efforts, as Milan tried to include the French player last summer, but negotiations were not completed because of his high salary.

The Catalan club is seeking to raise funds next January in order to strengthen its offensive line at the request of coach Xavi Hernandez.
