Top 14: Toulon misses a great opportunity by conceding a draw in Pau

A week after its convincing success against Lyon (19-13), Rugby Club Toulonnais let slip the victory at Hameau against the Section Paloise at the very end of the match, settling for a draw (16-16), on behalf of the 12th day of the Top 14. The Var, who are still looking for a first away victory this season, had scored Nakarawa (52nd).

But, in the 78th minute, the Béarnais managed to equalize by scoring by Gorgadze.

With this draw, the club now coached by Franck Azéma misses the opportunity to give itself an air match at the bottom of the standings and overtake its opponent of the day.

The Section is 8th, the RCT 9th.
